We, and the the world around us, are built from level upon level of patterns, complexities and interactions that intertwine and overlap. Each order of magnitude contains the previous one many times over and most often imperceptibly. It is those layers, scale upon scale, and their interactions that interest me. The language that nature uses is the language of numbers, whereas my language is art. I set out to find where those two areas could meet and ended up an engineer.

When I finally returned to the art world I knew that I wanted to find a medium that I could use to show images and 3 D works, an aesthetic interpretation of the processes of nature where the different dimensions could be seen to Interact.
